Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Pune Division, Pune
Introduction:
Vide Government in Tribal Development Dept. Resolution dated 23/01/1985, the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee was established, having it’s jurisdiction for whole State of Maharashtra.
In the year 1992, there were additional two Scrutiny Committees were established, one at Nashik and another at Nagpur. Hence, the jurisdiction of the said Pune Committee was remained for the Pune and the Konkan Revenue Divisions only.
Again, Vide Government Resolution dated 06/09/2000, there was another new Scrutiny Committee was established at Thane for the Konkan Division. Hence, at present the Pune Committee is having it’s jurisdiction for only the Pune Revenue Division i.e. Pune, Satara, Sangli, Solapur and Kolhapur districts only.
