Establishment of Nandurbar Committee
The Scheduled Tribes Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar, was created under the Maharashtra Government, Tribal Development Department, Government Resolution No. STC-1006 / P.186 / K.10 dated December 08, 2006. This office has been functioning since August 15, 2007. Three districts Nandurbar, Dhule and Jalgaon are included under the jurisdiction of this office.
Administrative structure
Government has announced a number of facilities for the Scheduled Tribes and to bring them in the mainstream of development. Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Vimukta Jatis Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Other Special Backward Classes (Certificate of giving and Regulation of caste) Maharashtra State in order to prevent these things from being noticed by non-scheduled tribe beneficiaries, Replace the Act-2000 (Maharashtra, No. 23 of 2001) Visions of this Act and the Maharashtra Scheduled Tribes Certificate in order to implement (and to its authentication Regulation) Rules, 2003, have been in existence since the date 04.06.2003. In this Act and in the rules, all the procedures have been proposed to get and verify the certified certificates of persons belonging to Scheduled Tribes. The functioning of the committee is of an arbitrary nature and at the time of inquiries, the committee is entitled to all the rights which are given to the civil court while deciding the claims under the Code of Civil Code, 1908, to the competent authority, the Appellate Authority and the Verification Committee. The responsibility of all the officials working in the committee's decision-making process is the same. In the decision making process, Commissioner and Chairman Joint Commissioner and Vice Chairman, Deputy Director (Research) and Member Secretary, Senior Research Officer and Member and Research Officer and Members are participating.
